The Bethlehem Action & Mission Committee has invited Urban Impact to visit during our Sunday School hour for April 30th. Urban Impact is a local Christian ministry focused on working in the North Side of Pittsburgh, offering a wide range of programs and opportunuties for service. Please join us for what will be an informative and inspiring presentation.
"Urban Impact was founded in 1995 by Pastor Ed and Tammy Glover after they felt a calling to reach youth in their neighborhood — the North Side of Pittsburgh. Over the past 25 years, we have grown to a staff of 35+ missionaries who all reside on the North Side and run programs in Athletics, Education, Performing Arts, and Options. This past year, we reached 1,875 students and 613 people gave their lives to Christ during our programs or events. We look forward to many more years serving our community.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to do our part in fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission on the North Side of Pittsburgh by following His model of holistic ministry by investing in the lives of at-risk children, youth, and their families in order to develop responsible followers of Christ."
