) grew up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and has been associated with the music program at Bethlehem Lutheran Church since 1979 when he joined the staff as the part time Organist / Choir Director. In 1982, he became the full time Christian Education Director for the congregation and continued in the role of organist / choir director. He is currently responsible for a Christian Education Program weekly reaching approximately 120 children and adults and overseeing 3 Hand Bell Choirs, a Senior Choir, a Folk Choir, a Matins Choir, a Youth Choir and The Kids Of the Kingdom. Mark became an Associate in Ministry with the ELCA in 1987. He is married to Beth, and they have 3 children (Carrie, Anne and Meg).
